To follow along and make the recipe you will need:

  • 1.5 -2 Liter Jar
  • 2 L of water (this will be a bit more than you end up using)
  • 50g mineral or sea salt
  • 2 large beets
  • half a butternut squash
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 cloves
  • 8 cardamom pods
