Yarrow Resilience Institute Private Fermentation Workshop <p>Book a personal fermentation tutorial session with Kat, YRI\'s fermentation enthusiast </p><p>This will be one live 2 hour session or two 1 hour sessions offered online or in person*, depending on your preference. This can be scheduled individually or for a small group.</p><p><strong>Learn: </strong>You\'ll learn about the benefits of making and enjoying fermented foods and drinks, from gut health to mental clarity along with the essential steps for successful fermentation.</p><p><strong>Demo:</strong> You will learn how to make fermented foods and drinks easily at home with no fancy equipment. We\'ll review staple recipes, and show the finished products. We will also do a demonstration recipe full of healthy probiotic bacteria. We\'ll talk about how you can easily adapt base recipes with ingredients from any time of the year. </p><p><strong>Make your Own: </strong>You will roll up your sleeves and make your own ferment: Together we decide what this recipe will be, depending on your area of interest. Options include:</p><p>1)A Wild Fermentation with produce, such as living pickles, sauerkraut or kimchi</p><p>2) Kombucha Brewing and Flavoring</p><p>3) Fermented Fire Cider, a fermented herbal health elixir for daily wellness.</p><p>We will send you the list of ingredients and materials ahead of time. </p><p><strong>Further Learning:</strong> You will get an Ebook which covers the essentials of fermentation and corresponds to your recipe of choice, including an overview of the basics, a step-by-step guide for making more ferments, and some delicious recipes for inspiration!</p><p>About your facilitator: Kat began her journey as a small farmer fermenting excess produce and became fermentation educator in Copenhagen, bridging the worlds between fermentation and food excess on a household and city-wide level. Her fermentation facilitation has brought together community in Copenhagen, the Sacred Valley of Peru, and now California. She has led personalized workshops on fermented food, drinks, and beyond for food cooperatives, private groups, municipality run community events, and  farm/garden communities. </p><p>*Workshop rates are per person.
